SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS | PHANTOM BLADE 0 | MODEST UNTIL PATH TRACING
Rain-soaked bridges, clashing blades and enemies that rarely give Soul enough room to breathe have made Phantom Blade Zero one of the most visually striking action RPGs approaching release. S-GAME’s dark kungfupunk adventure is scheduled to launch on October 29, 2026, and the studio has now published the official PC system requirements. For a large Unreal Engine 5 production built around fast combat, elaborate animation and a highly detailed world, the requirements are generally more reasonable than many players may have expected. Phantom Blade Zero follows Soul, an elite swordsman framed for the murder of his master and left with only sixty-six days to live after receiving a temporary cure for a fatal wound. His search for the person behind the conspiracy leads through the Wulin, a bleak martial world in which traditional Chinese architecture and wuxia mythology exist beside mechanical prosthetics, industrial ruins and supernatural threats. Instead of stretching its content across one enormous open world, the game uses a semi-open structure composed of handcrafted areas filled with enemies, hidden paths and optional discoveries. Combat remains the main attraction, combining rapid deflections, counters and seamless combos with an unusually large selection of conventional weapons and more exotic Phantom Edges taken from defeated opponents.

The newly released specifications suggest that S-GAME has not treated modern high-end hardware as the starting point. The ordinary minimum and recommended configurations are surprisingly accessible for a game of this scale, making the standard experience realistic for a broad range of existing gaming PCs. Upscaling is part of the listed performance targets, but the overall hardware expectations still appear satisfactory, especially when compared with several recent Unreal Engine 5 releases that have placed much heavier demands on mid-range systems. An SSD is required, although that has become an expected condition rather than a serious obstacle for a major PC release in 2026.

The picture changes considerably once the most advanced lighting mode is enabled. Running Phantom Blade Zero with full path tracing at 4K and 60 FPS requires an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080, with upscaling still enabled. That is an expensive entry ticket, but full path tracing should be viewed as a premium visual option rather than the standard required experience. Most players will not need hardware anywhere near that level to enjoy the game at sensible settings. The published requirements therefore leave a positive first impression: Phantom Blade Zero appears prepared to accommodate ordinary gaming PCs, while reserving its most demanding graphical showcase for the small number of systems powerful enough to handle it.
