A curved sheet of tempered glass now wraps continuously from the front of the chassis to its side, giving the newly announced ASUS Prime AP304 a panoramic appearance without turning the entire case into a sealed display box. Revealed on July 31, 2026, the new ATX chassis combines its wide internal view with a cooling layout built around the graphics card, including a patented three-sided slot vent positioned in the lower part of the case. The design places equal emphasis on presentation and practical airflow, giving builders a clearer view of internal components while still creating a dedicated path for fresh air around the lower section. Its rounded exterior and white finish also give the AP304 a softer, cleaner identity than the sharper aquarium-style cases that currently dominate the panoramic category. An integrated ARGB light band runs near the base and supports ASUS Aura Sync, while the glass panel uses an easy-detach rail intended to make removal and reinstallation safer during assembly or maintenance. ASUS will offer a standard AP304 and an AP304 ARGB version equipped with four preinstalled illuminated fans.

The defining visual element is the curved tempered-glass panel, which extends from the front toward the main side of the chassis and exposes the interior from multiple angles. ASUS says the panel passes through a five-stage manufacturing process that includes tempering for additional strength and durability. More important from a practical perspective is the lower slot vent, whose three-sided ventilation structure is designed to direct fresh air toward the graphics card rather than relying exclusively on airflow entering through the front. That approach allows the AP304 to maintain its glass-heavy presentation while providing a dedicated path for one of the system’s hottest components. A reinforced bracket supports graphics cards measuring between 300 and 360mm, while the chassis itself accommodates horizontally installed cards up to 420mm long. A patented slot clamp also enables tool-free GPU installation.

The AP304 supports ATX, MicroATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, ATX power supplies up to 200mm long and CPU air coolers measuring up to 175mm in height. Radiator support reaches 360mm at the top, while the chassis provides mounting positions for as many as ten 120mm fans. Builders can install three 120mm fans or two 140mm units at the top, three 120mm fans along the side, one 120mm fan at the rear and another three 120mm fans at the bottom. ASUS recommends a layout with bottom intake fans feeding the GPU area, a top-mounted 360mm radiator configured as exhaust, three side exhaust fans and one rear exhaust fan. The AP304 ARGB arrives with three ASUS Prime MR120 ARGB fans on the side and another MR120 ARGB fan at the rear, while the standard version leaves the main fan selection to the builder.

Behind the motherboard area, ASUS provides 33mm of cable-management space, helping accommodate larger cable bundles without forcing the side panel into place. The chassis also includes tool-free side panels and removable dust filters for easier access and cleaning. Front connectivity consists of one USB Type-C port operating at up to 20Gbps, two USB 5Gbps Type-A ports and separate audio connections. The combination of a long GPU clearance, 360mm radiator support and broad fan compatibility positions the AP304 as a full-size performance-oriented case rather than a compact panoramic model. Its integrated lighting band is included on both versions, while the ARGB edition adds the four preinstalled fans for users who prefer a more complete configuration directly from the box.

ASUS has not yet attached official pricing or detailed regional availability to the Prime AP304 announcement. That information will determine how convincingly the new case competes with the growing number of panoramic ATX designs already offering curved glass, included fans and extensive radiator support. On specifications alone, the AP304 avoids relying entirely on appearance: its 420mm graphics-card clearance, reinforced GPU support, ten fan positions and dedicated lower ventilation system provide a practical foundation for powerful gaming builds. The most interesting part is the attempt to reconcile a nearly uninterrupted glass exterior with direct GPU airflow. Whether that patented slot vent delivers a meaningful thermal advantage will require independent testing, but the design gives the Prime AP304 a clearer identity than another conventional showcase chassis with lighting added around the edges.
